Members of the SIGMA project team presented at the 4th International Conference on Solar Technologies & Hybrid Mini Grids to improve energy access - s-@ccess 2023, held in Mallorca, Spain from 26 to 28 April 2023. Our presentations focused on strengthening the commercial viability of mini-grids in Nigeria through greater inclusion (Temilade Sesan et al, ICEED), the evolving governance of decentralised electricity provision in Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Senegal (Lucy Baker, OU/SPRU), and innovation and agency in mini-grid energy access and use in Kenyan households (Rosebella Nyumba et al, presented by Abigael Okoko)

Presented at the Non-Road Mobile Machinery Electrification and Hybridization Forum - hosted by the Leadvent Group in Berlin, Germany from 18-19 April 2023 - this presentation discusses the roles and opportunities for electrification of mobile non-road machinery in off-grid areas in developing countries, and the potential symbioses with off-grid electrification approaches.

Presented at the COP27, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, Side Event "Pathways Towards a Renewable Energy Future – Exploring Multiple Opportunities" on Monday November 14, 2022, this presentation discusses insights from the project literature review and fieldwork on the technical, economic, social and governance dimensions of mini-grids in the four SIGMA partner countries.
